About

MAC Rowing is a nationally prominent club rowing team for high school kids in the L.A. area, with over 120 athletes from 25+ area high schools. We have a lot of fun, we work really hard and we go very, very fast.

What I’m Raising Money For

My team is raising money for a number of things, including a sleek new 8-oared racing shell. These boats are state-of-the-art. They're mostly made of carbon fiber and are designed to be stiff, light and fast in the water. They're also very expensive, which is why we need your help!

Why You Should Give

I have been coxing for MAC for 4 years, and it has become an integral part of who I am. Being part of such an incredible team has taught me priceless lessons and helped me to become not just an ambitious athlete, but also a confident person in general. The skills MAC passes on to its athletes stay with us forever, so we want to be able to give back to the club too. MAC has had great success, and in order to keep it up, we need equipment that is in great shape, too. We need your help to enable future rowers to have the same opportunities we’ve been lucky enough to have. Thank you!
