About
MAC is a rowing club in Marina Del Rey, CA that is for junior rowers, ages 13 up till 18. We are a highly competitive team, placing high not only in the SW region, but also nationally. I have been on MAC for 2 years, this year being my third on the team, and second on varsity and devout much of my time everyday to our team.
What I’m Raising Money For
We are raising money for much needed equipment, including a new 8, which holds 8 rowers and one coxswain. These boats are made of carbon fiber and are very light. They are very expensive which is why your help is needed and greatly appreciated!
Why You Should Give
If you do donate, you will not only be contributing to help buy a new boat for us to win races in, but also an environment in which each and everyone of us pushes ourselves to our limits and grows in strength, mental capability, and teamwork, preparing us for our lives ahead.
