About
FIRST Robotics Competition Team 980 ThunderBots, a 501(c)(3) public charity, inspires high school students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) fields. We build competitive robots, immersing our students in a focused, hands-on product development cycle, followed by intense competitive events.
What I’m Raising Money For
Funds raised by our "Spark Team 980's Infinite Recharge" Challenge will be used to purchase parts, tools and supplies for building our robot as well as team uniforms. Our students are working hard to exceed our $5,000 kickoff goal!
Why You Should Give
Team 980 has given me many opportunities that would not be available in other activities. The team has provided resources that not every kid has access to. With your donation, we will be able to purchase new supplies that will be very beneficial to our team!
