About
FIRST Robotics Competition Team 980 ThunderBots is a 501(c)(3) public charity and competitive robotics team with the mission of inspiring young people to become science, technology, and business leaders.
I'm a part of the Fabrication department, where we work to create and improve the physical parts of the robot!
What I’m Raising Money For
Running a successful FRC program isn't cheap. Our tools cost money, our materials cost money, time costs money, even going to competition costs money!
Why You Should Give
In the past, Team 980 has relied on corporate sponsors for the majority of our revenue, but those sponsorships are no longer adequate to cover all our expenses. If we want to create bigger and better robots, we need more money to make it happen!
