About
Team 980 ThunderBots is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Last year we won the chairman's award and built competitive robots for the FIRST competition. FIRST immerses its participants in an fast-paced six-week season and intense competition events.
What I’m Raising Money For
Your funds will be used to purchase parts, materials, and supplies for building our robot. Our team needs $5,000 for this season but my personal goal is $250
Why You Should Give
Few programs inspire high school students to choose high-tech career paths like a robotics team and Team 980 isn't your typical robotics team. Members learn how to operate professional-grade machinery, program in Java, design an original robot for the FIRST robotics competition, and work in a professional environment with other members.
