About
On Sunday, March 24th, our novice and varsity rowers will be at Eastview Mall to raise money and awareness for not only Pittsford Crew, but for Golisano Children's Hospital as well. Each member of our team will either row for an hour straight, or do a series of relay races at our local mall.
What I’m Raising Money For
Pittsford Crew is a non-profit organization, and is not supported by our local schools. All of our equipment including boats, launches, motors, boat lifts, repairs to our docks and maintenance to our facilities are done through community service, and paid for by efforts of our rowers, families and community! Any money donated will go towards these costs, and help give the sport and community we love what it needs to operate.
Why You Should Give
Crew is the ultimate team sport, and all of us have learned countless life skills. Obvious ones would be something like teamwork, but integrity, learning our limits, and especially helping to build self confidence are things I learned through a sport beyond just rowing and extends into the community. In the spirit of giving back and helping others. Pittsford Crew is has chosen to donate a portion of our fundraising to the Golisano Children's Hospital, an organization we have chosen countless times to support because of all the great work they do.
