About
I am the attorney coach of the White Rock Mock Trial team. They are a unique group of extremely hard-working kids. Last year, we won at both the Dallas District level and then won came in 3rd at the Dallas Quarter-Finals Then we placed 16thth in State!!! This year, we are focused on placing in the top 4 in State!
What I’m Raising Money For
I am currently working hard to raise money for our team to participate in the very prestigious, invitation-only Empire Mock Trial Competition. We attended last year and it is, by far, the best way for our team to gain the valuable experience we need to rank in the state. We will use the money raised for costs associated with scrimmages and, hopefully, we will raise enough to attend the competition in San Francisco in November.
Why You Should Give
This means a lot to me because Bryan Adams and Skyline (who compose the White Rock Mock trial team) are Title I schools. Our mock trial team (and our schools) do not have the same resources as the teams that we compete against. Many, if not most, of the teams competing at the state level also compete in the Empire Mock Trial Competition. Participating in the Empire Competition is, by far, the best way for our team to obtain the valuable experience that we need to reach our goal of ranking in state. I'd love for you to follow our team's progress or pass this on to your friends or business contacts who might be interested in either sponsoring us or helping spread the word about my fundraiser.
