About

MAC Rowing is my home away from home! It's a rowing ("crew") team for high school kids with athletes from all over the LA area and over 25 different schools represented. We row in Marina del Rey, with practices six days a week. It's a lot of hard work, but we have also have a lot of fun. Every day I go to practice I'm learning and growing as an athlete and as a person. Our awesome coaches emphasize teamwork, effort and dedication and it's really paying off.

What I’m Raising Money For

We're raising money for the many things that our annual team fees don't cover, especially the expensive boats themselves! A new 8-oared boat can cost over $50,000 and we're doing our part to keep our fleet up to date, in good repair, and ready to race!
