About
MAC Rowing is the premier junior rowing team in the Los Angeles area, with 130 boys and girls from over 25 L.A. area high schools rowing out of the UCLA Marina Aquatic Center in Marina del Rey. With three USRowing national championship winning boats to its credit and a list of alumni that includes NCAA and IRA champions and a 2016 Olympian, MAC is well known across the rowing world. We pride ourselves in our "whole athlete" approach to coaching and love hearing our athletes talk about the boathouse being their home away from home.
What I’m Raising Money For
This year we are buying a new eight and a new four, boats that our athletes will put to good use in their pursuit of speed and competitive success!
Why You Should Give
Your support is absolutely vital to the continued success of MAC Rowing. The fees that the athletes' families pay do not cover the cost of the team's equipment. For that, we rely on the generosity of our member families above and beyond what they're paying in fees along with the support of alumni athletes, alumni families and friends of the program far and wide. Your gift will manifest itself in the form of a sleek, carbon racing shell, but what you're really doing is helping us to mold these young men and women into strong, confident, goal-oriented people who will go out and be leaders and contributors in every facet of their lives going forward.
