About
Hi, I'm Zach! I'm a freshman at Loudoun Valley High School in Northern Virginia. My favorite classes are World History, Earth Science, Biology, and English. Outside of academic classes, I enjoy music the most.
I've played cello for almost four years, and I am happiest when I share music with others through Loudoun Valley High School's performances and other extracurricular orchestral groups.
Some of the groups I've performed with and events I've attended are:
🎻 Loudoun Youth Symphony Orchestra 2025-26 (first chair)
🎻 All County Orchestra 2025
🎻 Junior Regional Orchestra 2025 (first chair)
🎻 Shenandoah University Strings Day 2024 (and upcoming in 2026)
🎻 2025 Composition Festival held by the Virginia Music Educators Association, where the top 30 middle school through college student composers in Virginia were nominated for this event.
My dream is to refine my cello and composition skills, and possibly pursue music studies in college and beyond, so that I can share music with as many people as possible. 🧡
What I’m Raising Money For
This April, my high school is hosting a weekend trip to New York City for students in the music department.
The incredible itinerary includes sightseeing, theatrical and musical performances, and even a Broadway Master Class.
