About
On April 14th, Pittsford Crew’s athletes will row together on ergs (rowing machines) to help raise funds for Better Day Buddies, part of Cancer Wellness Connections, and Pittsford Crew’s equipment including boats and new equipment. The Erg-a-thon will be held at the Eastview Mall in the main court. Pittsford Crew has chosen to donate 15% of the proceeds to Better Day Buddies.
What I’m Raising Money For
Better Day Buddies is for children who are going through chemotherapy. Better Day Buddies provides crafts, books, small games, and hearty snacks for the children while they are undergoing chemotherapy at the Golisano Children’s Hospital. The fun activities provide diversions for children ages 2-20 in the outpatient treatment room. Better Day Buddies provides services 5-days a week, with 2-volunteers a day for children and their families.

Update from Matthew Doolittle
Dear friends & family, As some of you might know, I am a varsity rower for Pittsford Crew. I am currently working hard to raise money for Better Day Buddies, an organization that supports kids with cancer. Also, Pittsford Crew needs equipment like ergs and new boats so the rowers can perform the best they possibly can! Better Day Buddies is a wonderful opportunity for Piitsford Crew to connect with struggling families and help these kids beat cancer. This means a lot to me because as a Pittsford Crew athlete, I want to show as much love as I can for the patients involved in Better Day Buddies and also help support my club. I want to play a role in the growth of our club and the curing of kids in our community.
