About
Verve Lacrosse Club is a 501c3 non-profit organization established in January 2017 by a group of five incredible women with a vision of bringing girls lacrosse to the South Bay community. We are so much more than just lacrosse. "Powered by girls, created by women," Verve aims to cultivate an environment where confidence is beautiful and encourages girls to use lacrosse as way to give back to their community.

What I’m Raising Money For
For 2019, I am raising money for the Verve Lacrosse Scholarship Fund. On March 9th, I will be running my second 50 mile race, The Marin Ultra Challenge, in beautiful Sausalito, California.
Since launching our inaugural season in August 2017, one of Verve's biggest challenges has been making girls lacrosse financially accessible to our South Bay families. Every season, we receive at least 15 financial aid applications and are only able to offer 7 full scholarships. To put it in perspective, one full Verve scholarship is $1500 for the summer season and does not include travel costs. Our goal for Summer 2019 is to be able to offer 10 full scholarships to families who apply for financial aid. Together, it is our goal to bring lacrosse to any girl who desires to play regardless of their financial situation.
