PPYRC currently boasts a roster of 130 youth athletes, encouraged and challenged by 6 devoted volunteer coaches.

Our scholastic teams and adult master rowers compete at a very high level in regattas all over the northeastern US and Canada. We offer generous scholarships so that any interested teen can participate regardless of means, and our no-cut policy is central to our mission of inclusion and teamwork.

Our competitive Junior Team represents a group of fiercely dedicated and disciplined students in grades 6-12 from the Greater Portland area. They embody passion, teamwork, community and good old-fashioned hard work as they strive to make their boats go fast!
CRU 2015 Erg-A-Thon, Chicago Rowing Union

Chicago Rowing Union (CRU) is hosting an Erg-A-Thon on <strong>August 22, 2015</strong>. The event will take place at Whole Foods in Edgewater (6009 North Broadway, Chicago, IL 60660) from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Rowers participating in the event will be challenged to row as many meters as they can in 45 minutes on indoor rowing machines (ergometers).

Founded in 1979, the Los Gatos Rowing Club (LGRC) has trained and coached more than 2500 student athletes from 25 area schools on the beautiful Lexington Reservoir near Los Gatos, CA. Our junior rowers have succeeded in winning numerous national titles and many each year are recruited to row at the top colleges and universities across the nation.
