We're raising money for the
Mater Dei Robotics Team
fundraiser led by
Santa Ana, CA
We are the Monarch Robotics Competition Team #4141from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA, in our fifth year with the FIRST Robotic Competition (FRC). We work with professional mentors with the goal of reaching the finals in our local regional robotics competition. We are fund-raising for our students, many of whom have never been involved in designing and building a robot.
What I'm Raising Money For
We are raising money to build a robot for the FIRST FRC competition and to compete at the Las Vegas Regional Competition. Our 20 student member team needs your help in funding the Regional Competition Enrollment fee ($4,000); two computers to run our Computer Aided Design CAD ($2,000), a Makerbot 3D printer ($2,000), and components for our robot's chassis ($2,000). Thanks for your support of our STEM program! Our website is http://www.mdhsrobotics.com
Why You Should Give
The robotics program combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules, limited resources and time, teams are challenged to raise funds, hone teamwork skills, and build and program robots to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. Your support helps our students of all backgrounds learn skills that can translate into fun career ideas.
