We're raising money for the
fundraiser led by
Santa Ana, CA
We are the Monarch Robotics Competition Team from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA, in our fourth year with the FIRST Robotic Competition (FRC). We work with professional mentors with the goal of reaching the finals in our local regional robotics competition. We are fund-raising for our students, many of whom have never been involved in designing and building a robot.
What I'm Raising Money For
We are raising money so all students that want to join the team can get involved in the fun of learning to build a robot for the FIRST FRC competition. Not all students have the financial means to meet the cost of membership in a FIRST FRC team so support from fundraising will allow them to be part of the team. http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc
Why You Should Give
The robotics program combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules, limited resources and time, teams are challenged to raise funds, hone teamwork skills, and build and program robots to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. Your support helps our students of all backgrounds learn skills that can translate into fun career ideas.
