I'm raising money for the
fundraiser led by
My friend Max is in Pulaski State Prison in Georgia. Here's a statement from her:
"I have been incarcerated for 16 years, and have no outside help to assist me with things that I need. I am looking for anyone that would like to donate and offer support. My hope is that you will not judge me because of my current situation because I do have a story to tell. I have gone without or have been limited with food, soap, shampoo, deodorant etc...If there is someone that can find it in their heart to please consider helping me out, it would be greatly appreciated. A small monthly donation, or a one time donation can really help a lot. I thank you in advance for any positive thoughts, prayers and/or donations that you can send my way. If you would like to send me a letter, it can be sent to:

What I'm Raising Money For
Max has sent me the price list from the in-prison store so I could see what she was dealing with; they charge high rates even for essentials like pads, soap and deodorant, and without outside help Max has often been unable to afford these things even though she works all day.
Why You Should Give
Because of her imprisonment, Max has been unable to see her son Spencer grow up; she works long hours, making only a few dollars an hour. I've been writing back and forth with her for about a year, and she is kind, caring, hilarious and in real need of a little help. If you're not able to donate, sharing this on your page or sending Max a message of support would be incredibly helpful.
